About Jessica

Some of Jessica’s favorite childhood memories were made baking in the kitchen with her dad. These early experiences sparked her passion and set her on the path to make baking her career.

Determined to combine her love for baking with her dream of owning a business, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pastry Arts with additional coursework in business. She then gained hands-on experience as a full-time cake decorator at Leo’s Bakery & Deli in East Rochester. However, in May 2021, a serious accident made her realize how short life can be. This pushed her to follow her dream, and she took the leap to start her own bakery alongside her partner Hannah.

About Hannah

Hannah was inspired by her mom, who made incredible cakes for every birthday. Watching her create these sweet masterpieces fueled Hannah’s love of baking and set her the path to a career in the field.

After college, she began working at Phillips European Restaurant, where she spent a year before seeking more creative freedom and broader horizons. She then became a full-time cake decorator at Leo’s Bakery & Deli, where she spent nine years honing her craft — and where she met Jessica!

Many of their recipes are original creations, while others are cherished family and friend recipes, passed down through generations and making their baked goods truly special. Hannah’s personal favorite is her mom’s chocolate chip cookie recipe — simple but delicious! If given the chance, she’d eat dessert all day!
