Kelly grew up in Honeoye Falls-Lima and now calls Irondequoit home. She started baking professionally in 2008 and has now spent over a decade owning and operating her own business, Get Caked Bakery.
She deeply admires head chefs and business owners, knowing first hand the dedication it takes to pursue a dream. She is inspired by her community, stating “Rochester is rich with determined, hard-working people with dreams of creating their own success. It is a great atmosphere to live in and around, and it inspires me to keep achieving.”
For more than 10 consecutive years, Kelly has been a dedicated participant in EPI’s Chocolate Ball Cake Competition, and she is honored to return as a judge. Her connection to EPI is personal—she has family members with neurological disorders, including epilepsy and cerebral palsy, making this cause especially meaningful to her. Beyond her work in the kitchen, Get Caked Bakery is committed to giving back, donating an average of $10,000 annually in products and services to local organizations and charities.
Kelly is thrilled to be part of this year’s competition and looks forward to celebrating the creativity and talent of all the bakers!
