Honorary Chair – Daniel M. Meyers 

Dan Meyers is President Emeritus of Al Sigl Community of Agencies where he spent thirty years growing resources for a unique collaborative network of independent human service agencies passionately working together to take the “dis” out of disabilities and to grow opportunities for inclusion for tens of thousands of people and families in and around Rochester, New York.

In the community, Dan is and has been an active Trustee and Board leader for Rochester General Hospital, Rochester Regional Health, Greater Rochester Individual Practice Association, Health Reach for the Homeless, the George Eastman Museum, St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, Rochester Rotary, the Waldron Rise Foundation, and many other not for profit institutions and foundations.

He was honored by the Golisano Foundation with an inaugural Move to Include Award in 2015.  He received the B. Thomas Golisano Philanthropy Award from the Rochester General Hospital Foundation in 2013. He was awarded the President’s Medallion for Service to the Rochester Community in 2009 by his alma mater, St. John Fisher University. In 2005, he was granted an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Nazareth University.  He was named the 2001 Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the international Association of Fundraising Professionals.

And, Dan is a HUGE chocolate lover!
