DESCRIPTION:Project UPLIFT is an evidenced-based program that helps adults with epilepsy and depression or other mental health concerns learn new skills for managing and improving their mental health and quality of life. \nRegister at: https://www.epiny.org/epilepsy-services-project-uplift-registration/ \nSmall peer groups (4-6 people) led by EPI’s social worker and a trained peer facilitator meet virtually for one hour for eight (8) weeks. \n\nIncreases knowledge and skills\, reduces depression\, and improves quality of life\nEmpowers you to improve your mental health through mindfulness and other skills.\n\nThis program is free\, virtual\, and provides a similar\, but more targeted and structured experience than a support group. \nFor more information\, contact Denise Eshenaur at (585) 442-4430 x2768 or desenhaur@epiny.org.
